Our Core Business

The primary activity of Y Soft is the research, development, production and sales of the SafeQ solution. SafeQ makes print processes easier and more efficient and helps you reduce costs.

YSoft SafeQ Printing Solution

The SafeQ product family is the key focus of the entire corporation. SafeQ is a printing solution with high added value, designed for clients from a variety of sectors all over the world who share at least one of these objectives:

  • They are aware of the environmental impact of paper waste
  • They want to save costs and increase productivity by optimising control of the print environment
  • They want to begin charging fees for print services and enable self-service printing and copying for private purposes
  • They need to ensure full availability of their print environment, because printing is crucial for their business
  • They want reliable security and the ability to secure all aspects of printing, copying and scanning
  • They seek to make the work of users and administrators easier and more efficient and thus save their time.

Research and development

The Research and Development department develops SafeQ products and carries out product research, transfer and technology acquisitions. Because Y Soft is a technology business, this department plays the key role in the company, developing new products, as well as participating in product research with universities and with the world’s top producers of multifunction devices. This department employs more than 30% of Y Soft corporate staff and represents a significant share of corporate investment.

The R&D department operates globally, with centres in the Czech Republic, the USA and Japan. In the USA, the development team is part of our subsidiary Y Soft Americas. In Japan, R&D is provided by our Japanese subsidiary, Y Soft Japan Technology.

Thanks to our own research and development, Y Soft can offer highly flexible customisation and product adaptation to meet individual client needs. Because of the proximity of our developers and development centres to printer producers in Europe, America and Japan, we can respond instantly to market changes and provide solutions based on the latest technologies.

Business Strategy

Y Soft does not sell its products on the retail market. All sales are handled through a partner network. Our partners sell our products on the retail market directly or through a network of concessionaires. In most cases, Y Soft has found its partners among local representatives of printer manufacturers.

Technical support is provided at the following levels:

  • L1 – direct support by a trained partner. Y Soft provides technical and business training.
  • L2 – support by local Y Soft representative. Y Soft provides direct support to its partners (on-site and remote) and to contract (SLA) clients.
  • L3 – support from central office (EU, USA, Japan) available to subsidiaries and VIP clients.
