Our company sells its portfolio of products through an indirect distribution channel.
Our partner network, through which we sell all our products, is a powerful tool for optimum distribution and service.
This distribution network of certified partners is currently spread across the EMEA region (Europe, Near East and Africa). Thanks to our new subsidiaries in the USA and Japan (contacts), the number of our partners in North and South America and in the Pacific region is expected to grow. Typically, our partners are vendors of printing solutions or local representatives of printing machine brands, such as HP, Konica Minolta, OCE, Ricoh, Sharp and Xerox.
Because the SafeQ system is a complex product, our partners are trained in the SafeQ solution as part of the certification process. This training covers both business and technological aspects of SafeQ. In addition to the certification process, we provide regular training through virtual classrooms and electronic teaching materials (Y Soft eUniversity). This ensures that our partners always have complete, up-to-date product knowledge, resulting in significant reductions in the response time for affiliated services.
Most clients welcome the opportunity to see our solution in practise. The best way to provide this opportunity is to demonstrate the product in the vendor's showroom. To this end, our partner certification process includes the option to equip their showroom with a demo version of the YSoft SafeQ system.
Some clients, especially those from the corporate enterprise segment, require a trial operation in their own environment. It is, of course, in our interest to make efforts to accommodate this need and offer this service for the minimum possible price. If the client decides to start using the offered solution at the end of the trial operation, the price for rental is deducted from the total amount for system installation; the client therefore does not incur any expenses and the trial operation is free of charge.
The SafeQ system architecture enables the implementation of existing corporate (client) identification features, such as chip or electromagnetic cards. In most cases, the client knows the technology being used in his/her business, so the choice of the right terminal and card reader is not problematic.
There are, however, cases in which the client does not know the technology in use. In this situation, Y Soft offers free identification card testing in order to determine the reader to be used for authentication through YSoft SafeQ terminals.
Cards are tested in our Brno-based office. For successful implementation of the test process, the supporting form must be completed and two cards of the same type sent to the address shown on the form. Testing is free of charge and is generally done within one week of receiving the cards.
As part of its commitment to quality, Y Soft uses highly developed project management processes. A dedicated account manager serves as a perfect link between partners‘ projects and Y Soft corporate resources.
Because we have grown in the domestic environment and understand its importance, part of our project department is devoted exclusively to the Czech and Slovak markets. In this group we utilise the skills of our top professionals who have long experience in the company, have developed their skills with the Czech and Slovak Republics, and can therefore offer service of the highest quality.
With the growing global importance of our brand, we are placing more emphasis on our international project management skills and our ability to manage projects abroad. A special team of highly qualified project coordinators, greatly appreciated for their deep knowledge and experience, is dedicated exclusively to these projects.
To demonstrate our project management “literacy”, this department is run under IPMA specifications and recommendations. Also, because we are committed to our staff’s continuous qualification improvements, our project managers are educated through an internal growth system that includes numerous professional and language courses, as well as project management certifications under IPMA standards.
Many projects are unique and must be implemented under new rules in a new environment. This is an indisputable fact which has led us to create a team of consultants capable of delivering the solution required with high standards of quality. Because they are often responsible for the solution architecture, they are hired in accordance with strict criteria and possess not only a deep knowledge of the supplied solution on all levels, but also a broad understanding of information technologies.
Solution consultants focus on designing the architecture of the technological solution in the client environment, to meet the client’s specific requirements. Because Y Soft offers the option of customising SafeQ to client needs, our solution consultants are also actively engaged in customisation studies that analyse client requirements, prepare assignments for the development department and calculate customisation costs. This enables the client to have an accurate idea of the feasibility and price of the required customisation, so he/she does not have to deal with unexpected price increases and constantly postponed delivery dates.
We want to make our SafeQ supplies and affiliated services as flexible as possible. Therefore, we provide technical and business training to our certified partners on our premises or where the client is based. We are aware of the high costs of such training (accommodation and travel expenses), so we make every effort to maximise the efficiency of this service and to find the most effective technological platforms.
One outcome of our efforts has been migration to telecommunication tools provided by the Webex service. We have established virtual teaching centres based on this technology. The participants in the course do not have to go anywhere, because all training is done at their workstations connected to the Internet. This training makes it possible to link together audiovisual tools and fully simulates (and even surpasses in many features) traditional training. This is made possible by desktop or document (presentation) sharing features accompanied by VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) or standard phone conferences and the ability to draw explanatory pictures on a virtual board. The teacher can see a list of all participants who can “raise their hands” and ask questions in the form of chat.
