Based on clear strategic synergies, Y Soft rejoins Mopria Alliance.
Brno, Czech Republic --- June 2, 2025, Y Soft, leading provider of enterprise office solutions, officially announces the reentry into the Mopria Alliance as an executive member alongside leading mobile device providers, software application vendors, printer and scanner manufacturers, and OS providers.
After a five-year break, Y Soft once again enters the Mopria Alliance, joining an industry-leading ecosystem of companies providing end-to-end print and scan technology experiences to modern consumers and businesses.
To represent the Y Soft voice, we have Wouter Koelewijn and Roman Mátl who also appeared on its behalf at the 2025 Mopria Alliance Member Meeting held in Kawasaki, Japan. Hosted by Canon, this was a milestone event for Y Soft to reconnect with a global initiative that has evolved significantly.
Why Y Soft Withdrew from Mopria Alliance in 2020
During the unprecedented disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Y Soft made the difficult decision to temporarily withdraw from its participation in the Mopria Alliance. This step was taken to ensure that the company could maintain internal stability and focus resources on safeguarding the health, safety, and well-being of its employees during a period of global uncertainty.
At the time, Y Soft’s primary focus was on enterprise infrastructure, while Mopria Alliance was still formulating its approach to expanding its standards for enterprise and cloud. In the years since then, both Y Soft’s and Mopria’s strategic directions have moved closer to each other, and Y Soft’s mission and roadmap now align closer than ever to the alliance’s priorities (including enterprise infrastructure, cloud integration, and standardized print solutions).
The Companies Behind the Alliance
Y Soft now joins an impressive group of industry leaders in the Mopria Alliance.
Together, the members of the alliance move beyond competition and collaborate with a united goal of serving the market better, ensuring universal interoperability across devices and platforms, an essential ingredient in today’s hybrid and cloud-driven workplaces.
