JIC STARCUBE Winners - Y Soft Awards Tap4Parking

Y Soft, as a main sponsor and partner for the JIC STARCUBE Accelerator awards, participated in the jury panel to select the top 3 startups. Y Soft also selected Tap4Parking to receive a special Y Soft monetary award.

JIC STARCUBE, is the longest running Czech accelerator for startups. On December 3, JIC announced the winners of this year's competition: 

  • Feem, a project from Fritz Ekwoge Ekwoge for fast and secure file transfer between devices
  • Tap4Parking, a project from Igor Shapataiev for finding, booking and paying for parkings spots
  • webARX, a multi-platform security suite for commercial websites

JIC is very near and dear to Y Soft since Y Soft began as a JIC startup.

“We are excited to be back at the JIC StarCube event and to be one of the judges. For me personally, it’s like coming full circle. Twelve years ago, Y Soft started as one of the JIC startups,” said Vaclav Muchna.

Y Soft would like to thank the team from CzechInvest for visiting Y Soft in Brno on Jan 13, 2015 and for sharing their short-term outlook of Czech government sponsored initiatives. This meeting was a follow-up to some previous related activities such as the meeting with the Czech Prime Minister and the mutual Y Soft / be3D company introduction that resulted in a significant investment.
