It's summertime. And at Y Soft that means it's time to celebrate the company's birthday with three team building events held in Florida, Thailand and Valec, Czech Republic. Our theme this year was Asterix and Obelix.
Based on the
popular European comic book series (originating in France), Asterix and his friend Obelix, (Vaclav Muchna and Martin de Martini -- can you guess which character they each played?) go on many adventures. YSofters took on the role of Gauls and helped collect herbs won by particpating in team building activities.
Gauls built boats, went on scavenger hunts, sang songs and much, much more. As is our tradition, we also raised money for local charities where each region chose a charity to receive money raised in their region. All together, nearly $10,000 USD was raised which included personal donations made by many from the North America office.
